We collect two types of information: information you provide directly to us, and information collected automatically when you use the Site.
Information you provide: When you fill out a contact form, assessment request, or any other form on this Site, you may provide your name, business name, email address, phone number, and any other details you choose to include in free-text fields.
Information collected automatically: When you visit the Site, our analytics and tracking tools automatically collect certain technical data, including your IP address (anonymized), browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time spent on pages, and general geographic location (city/region level). We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
This Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us at legal@donstechrescue.com and we will delete it promptly.
Third-Party Links
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites (such as our YouTube channel). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies directly.
2. Cookie & Tracking Technology Policy
This section explains the tracking technologies we use on this Site, what data they collect, and how you can control them.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit. They allow the site (or third-party services the site uses) to recognize your browser on return visits and collect behavioral data. We also use similar technologies including web beacons, tracking pixels, and JavaScript-based tracking scripts.
Tracking Technologies We Use
Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors interact with our Site. GA4 collects data such as pages viewed, time on site, referring sources, device and browser type, and approximate geographic location. This data is aggregated and anonymized; we do not use GA4 to identify individual users by name.

GoHighLevel / HighLevel (Tracking & Forms)
We use GoHighLevel (operated by HighLevel Inc.) as our customer relationship management (CRM) and form platform. GoHighLevel's tracking script is loaded on this Site to measure the source of form submissions and attribute leads to the correct marketing channel. When you submit a form on this Site, your submission data is transmitted to and stored within our GoHighLevel CRM account.

Note: We do not currently use advertising cookies, remarketing/retargeting pixels (such as Meta Pixel or LinkedIn Insight Tag), or session recording tools (such as Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity). If this changes, this policy will be updated prior to deployment of any such technology.
Cookie Types on This Site
- Strictly Necessary: Required for the Site to function. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics & Performance: Help us understand visitor behavior (Google Analytics 4). No personally identifiable information is collected.
- Functional/CRM: Used by GoHighLevel to track form submission sources and store leads in our CRM.
How to Control or Disable Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block, delete, or receive a warning before a cookie is set. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of this Site or cause form submissions to not be recorded correctly.

Do Not Track (DNT)
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Our Site does not currently respond to DNT signals, as there is no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to them. We continue to monitor developments in this area.
3. Form Data & Contact Submission Notice
This section applies to any form you submit on this Site, including our contact form, free IT assessment request form, or any other inquiry form.
What We Collect When You Submit a Form
When you submit a form on this Site, we collect the information you enter, which may include:
- Your full name
- Your business name and/or title
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Details about your business (industry, number of employees, IT situation, etc.)
- Any message or notes you include in free-text fields
Why We Collect It
We collect this information solely to respond to your inquiry. Specifically, to:
- Contact you to schedule or confirm a free IT assessment
- Answer questions you've asked
- Provide the information or resources you requested
- Follow up on an ongoing business conversation
Where Your Submission Goes
Form submissions are transmitted to and stored in our GoHighLevel CRM. You may receive an automated confirmation email after submitting a form. If you submitted an assessment request, a member of our team will follow up personally within one business day.
Marketing Communications
By submitting a form on this Site, you are not automatically subscribing to a marketing email list. If we send you any email communications beyond a direct response to your inquiry, we will provide a clear and easy way to unsubscribe in every message. We comply with the federal CAN-SPAM Act.
You will not be added to a marketing list without your explicit consent. If you receive any unwanted communication from us, reply to the email and request removal or contact us at legal@donstechrescue.com.
Data Minimization
We only ask for information that is reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry. We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, or health information) through our forms.

4. SMS & Text Messaging Policy
This section applies to any text message (SMS) communications sent by Don's Tech Rescue LLC in connection with an inquiry or service relationship.

By submitting a contact form or assessment form on this Site and providing your phone number, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages from Don's Tech Rescue LLC related to your inquiry. Consent to receive SMS is not required as a condition of purchasing any service.
Types of Messages
SMS messages we may send include:

No Sharing of Opt-In Data
Your phone number and SMS opt-in information will not be shared with, sold to, or used by any third party for their own marketing purposes. This information is used solely by Don's Tech Rescue LLC to communicate with you about your inquiry or service relationship.
Supported Carriers
SMS messaging is available on all major U.S. carriers. Carrier support is not guaranteed for all carriers. Don's Tech Rescue LLC is not responsible for delays or failures in SMS delivery caused by carrier restrictions or network issues.
5. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. Don's Tech Rescue respects these rights regardless of legal requirement.
Rights Available to All Visitors

Pennsylvania does not currently have a comprehensive consumer data privacy law equivalent to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We nonetheless honor the rights listed above for all visitors as a matter of policy. We will update this section if and when Pennsylvania enacts applicable data privacy legislation.
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
